ALPIP

The ALPIP acronym (America Latina PIemonte Politecnico) nominates an ambitious cooperation project with Latin America countries aimed to reinforcerment of academic exchanges and the promotion of new lines of internationalisation which see the cooperative participation of universities and the socio-economic system.

The ALPIP project is open to students who are citizens of Latin American countries and/or come from Latin American universities (the academic requirements are listed in the specific sections). Latin American countries are: Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Jamaica, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela and other countries of the Caribbean Sea.

The ALPIP project awards Latin American students scholarships for higher education at the Politecnico di Torino at the following levels:

  • Laurea Specialistica (Master of Science):
    ALPIP offers students the possibility of attaining a ( Laurea specialistica) degree in Engineering or in Architecture at the Politecnico di Torino.
  • Master di II livello (II level Specializing Master):
    ALPIP offers the possibility of completing a one-year Master program in the ICT and E-Business fields
  • Dottorato di Ricerca (PhD):
    ALPIP offers the possibility to complete the entire doctorate program (three years) in various Engineering and Architecture fields.
