Do I need to come to Italy to perform my mobility?

No, it is not necessary. The mobility for the Academic Year 2020/2021 can be performed entirely online.

Can I attend classes in person if I come to Italy?

The possibility to attend some in person classes depends on the evolution of the current Covid-19 emergency. Nonetheless all the classes for the 1st and 2nd semester are guaranteed online and are recorded, also exams will be organized remotely.

Can I attend classes entirely from my Home Country?

Yes you can, all the classes for the 1st and 2nd semester are guaranteed online and are recorded, also exams will be organized remotely.

How will time zone differences be handled in distance-learning classes?

Online classes are scheduled according to the Italian time zone (CET), they are recorded too so that you will be able to check them whenever it is more convenient for you.

My mobility is for final project/traineeship/PhD research. Is it confirmed?

Your PoliTo supervisor will confirm the possibility to perform the mobility depending on the evolution of the current Covid-19 emergency. Be aware that your mobility could be reassessed right before the beginning of the semester.

 

I’m a non-European citizen not living in a Schengen country and I need to apply for a study visa to enter Italy, what should I do?

You have to register through Universitaly website.
The Incoming Mobility Office will inform you in due time about the procedure and documents to be uploaded. In order to know if you are required to apply for the Visa you can visit the website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

I need a certificate attesting that I’m performing my mobility in Italy. What should I do?

Keep all the proof of travel from your home Country to Italy and ask to the Incoming Mobility Office how to obtain the certificate.

 

How can I ask for the signature of my Learning Agreement/other documents if the Incoming Mobility Office front-office is closed?

You can contact the Incoming Mobility Office through the ticketing service. 

 

I want to cancel my mobility. What should I do?

You have to inform your Home University and ask them to confirm it to the Incoming Mobility Office.
