The Politecnico di Torino is involved in 19 Erasmus Mundus Action 2 projects. These are institution-based mobility and scholarship projects financed by the European Union and organized by different Partnerships of some of the most prestigious universities in Europe and in Third Countries. All these projects allow nationals of the Third Country involved to live an invaluable experience by undertaking a study or research period in Europe. Moreover, 9 of these projects (EUROEAST, WELCOME, EPIC, PEACE, EMAIL II, BACKIS, ELECTRA, EMINENCE, TEMPO) offer mobility opportunities also to European students and scholars towards the Third Country Partner institutions.
Depending on the project, scholarships are available for different academic levels: Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate and Post-doctorate students and scholars, as well as to academic and administrative staff.
Candidates must apply according to the rules and within the application period set for every project. Selected candidates will be awarded a scholarship covering travel costs, insurance, academic fees and subsistence (from 1.000 to 2.500 € per month, according to the academic level).
Scholarships of different duration are available depending on the applicants academic level and on their chosen study program. Mobility flows must start by the end of December 2013 with exceptions to be checked in the different project websites.
