Erasmus Mundus Action 2

The Politecnico di Torino offers mobility opportunities in 7 Erasmus Mundus Action 2 projects. These are institution-based mobility and scholarship projects financed by the European Commission and organized by different Consortia of some of the most prestigious universities in Europe and in third countries. Current active projects allow for mobility targeted to the following geographic areas: Argentina; South-Central Asia (Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, The Philippines); South-East Asia (Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, The Philippines, Vietnam); Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan); Egypt and Lebanon.

The projects allow nationals of the above mentioned countries to live an invaluable experience by undertaking a study or research period in Europe. The Egypt-Lebanon project also allows for mobility of European nationals. Depending on the project, scholarships are available for different academic levels: Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate and Post-doctorate students and scholars, as well as to academic and administrative staff.

Candidates must apply according to the rules and within the application period set for every project. Selected candidates will be awarded a scholarship covering travel costs, insurance and subsistence (from 1.000 to 2.500 € per month, according to the academic level).

Scholarships of different duration are available depending on the applicants academic level and on their chosen program of study. Mobility flows must start by December 2012, with exceptions to be checked in the different project websites.
