The Erasmus+ Traineeship Programme enables students to carry out an apprenticeship/internship in companies or research centers or in Universities Departments; the duration of the Erasmus+ Traineeship is minimum 2 months and maximum 12.
The Erasmus+ Traineeship Programme is open to students enrolled in first- and second-cycle Degree Programmes offered by European Universities that are part of the Erasmus+ programme (not necessarily partner of Politecnico di Torino).
In order to participate to the Erasmus+ Traineeship Programme you can check the activities of the research groups within the Departments and contact the Professor responsible of the research group you are interested in. For further information: http://www.polito.it/ricerca/dipartimenti/
In case there are some difficulties in contacting the Departments, you can send to the Incoming Mobility Office the following documents:
- Updated curriculum vitae
- Updated transcript of records
- Motivation/recommendation letter or a short summary of the activity you would like to develop at the Politecnico di Torino
- Training Agreement filled in with your personal data
The Incoming Mobility Office will forward the application directly to the Departments.
If the Professor approves your request, you can ask his/her help to fill in the Training Agreement and, once signed by the Professor from Politecnico di Torino, send it to your Home University that will assign you a scholarship.
Once the Training Agreement is signed by your Home University you have to send it to the Incoming Mobility Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) that will enable you to fill in the online application form, necessary for the enrollment. The application form instructions will be sent to you by e-mail.
In case your Home University won’t provide you with a scholarship, you will still be able to perform your traineeship period as a host, upon the Department authorization, without being enrolled.
